The single most useful thing you can do today is sign up. We will tell you when consultation opens, how to register as an Interested Party, and exactly what to say to make your objection count — no jargon, no fuss.

Five ways to help
- Talk to your neighbours. Many people near the site still don't know how much taller Ray II would be. Point them to this website and the height comparison on the home page.
- Come to the drop-in events. When Vattenfall holds sessions in local halls, turn up and ask the direct questions — on height, on cumulative impact, on battery safety and on decommissioning.
- Register when the time comes. Once the application is submitted, sign up as an Interested Party with the Planning Inspectorate. We'll walk you through it.
- Speak to the specifics. Objections that describe real, local harm — the view from your window, the road past your house, the night sky — carry far more weight than "we don't want it".
- Share what you know. Old planning correspondence, photos, survey work — local evidence strengthens everyone's case.
